The Woods Music and Dance Camp 2004 begins tomorrow - on the shores of Lake Rosseau, Ontario, Canada.

This year the staff includes:
Dave Clarke, Nancy White, Brian Peters, Cindy Thompson, Chris Coole & Erynn Marshall (dance band), Marian Rose (dance caller), and of course Grit Laskin and Eve Goldberg.

Classes, jamming, concerts, dances, star-watching, swimming, canoeing, food.....a few days of heaven on earth.

I'm looking forward to my first time there. I sort of crawled into a little hole when my mother died, and the camp will be my very first journey into folk music since losing that special musical friend. It'll be so good to reconnect to playing and singing. I only hope that my dreadfully bad back will hold up to what I expect will be a busy pace.
