So i'll be arriving in Ireland on the weekend of the Cork Folk Festival -- what a great way to kick off my Europe vacation!

Check out the website. Headliners are Mary Black and my personal faves Capercaillie. Also appearing: Bert Jansch, Paddy Keenan, Jimmy Crowley, Karan Casey, Jackie Daly, and from Newfoundland the great Pamela Morgan. And many others.

Any Catters going to Cork? (Hint, hint: I need a place to stay.)

Sorry I can't offer you a bed in my place - I'm in student accommodation, and my new roommate is moving in that weekend, with his parents coming over to help him, so all the floor-space is taken.
