Subject: RE: Charlie Watts ill From: Mooh Date: 17 Aug 04 - 10:18 AM Okay, so the news reports say he hasn't smoked for years, but who's to say that it didn't contribute given second hand factors and passive smoking, and cancer's notorious latency period? Nonetheless, there are lots of environmental causes and bad luck. I hope he beats it. Peace, Mooh. |

Subject: RE: Charlie Watts ill From: FriendOfFrancis Date: 19 Aug 04 - 02:47 PM One of my favorite drummers... I always have loved people who were just great time-keepers on their instruments, not necessarily the flashiest or most technical. His is the style that I think of when I think of straight-up r-n-b or rock drumming. Two and four, and a cymbal every eight or so. Best wishes, Charlie... FoF+ |
