Really Easy it's Junction 36 on the A1M onto the A630 towards Rotherham and then at traffic lights turn onto the A6023 signed Connisbrough/Earth Centre. Follow the A6023 passing the centre of the earth on your right and then you take the 2nd left at the roundabout (passing Kwik Save) and then straight away turn left signed Old Denaby - follow the road into Old Denaby itself and turn right down into Ferryboat Lane just before the telephone box.

Ferryboat Fisheries is at the end of the lane on your left.

If anyone is coming from Barnsley get on the A6023 signed Conisbrough and you come over a flyover to a roundabout with a Curtain retail place the a Pub called the Milestone (?) on the left and Kwick Save on the Right - do a U turn on the Rondabout and then take the immediate road on the left signed Old Denaby etc.

However from Glasgow they would get a plane to Robin hood Airport and I could collect them!!!

Just had the good news that our motorhome is going to be OK for the weekend (it was in doubt, briefly). Any news on the pie and peas Carol?

Rhiannon

Glad to hear the motorhome is OK - looking forward to seeing you both again , some good singing and I suppose some b-- good guitar playing!!

Went last night. Great place to have a sing. It's almost like having a sing in someone's sitting room.

Very friendly - we even got the barmaid giving an excellent performance of Wild Mountain Tyme. Back again today.

Super.

Rhiannon

Stuart and myself went on Saturday night and had a great time. There was a mixture of singing/monologue/poetry and a whole wealth of fun.
If it happens next year, I am sure to be there. Many thanks to Carol for organising the event. Best wishes, Mike.

Thanks Mike it was good to meet you and Stuart - now they know who you are!! Yes we plan to have a 2nd sing, hopefully on the August Bank holiday Weekend next year, hoping to finish/round Whitby off!!.

However as there will be a new owner in November we'll have to go over and visit later on in the year and see how the land lies.

I enjoyed the weekend and everyone that came along said they did as well!!! That's what it's all about, perhaps it was worth the extra grey hairs.

Sorry we didn't make it Carol. After a very late with Graeme Knights on Friday and the preparation for Tattershall today, we just didn't have the energy!
