Camping Scotland BSOT & Penicuik Festiva

Subject: Camping Scotland BSOT & Penicuik Festiva

Any mudcatters going to the above Festivals? If the good Lord's willing and if US Airways (on which I booked my cheap flights doesn't go out of business) I will be there. Money is very tight but I do have a tent and plan on camping if possible. Any campground recommendations near these two sites. Both Sides of the Tweed is in Eyemouth, and Penicuik is outside of Edinburgh. Both Sides of the Tweed is supposed to be a great festival and I don't know about Penicuik but it's on during the time I'll be in Scotland so if at all possible I'm going.

Both Sides of the Tweed - I understand that last year people camped on the headland just to the north east of EYEMOUTH centre. Free and within easy walking distance of the venues.

Great guest list and singing/sessions. Looking forward to it.

Eyemouth does have a campsite (T) 01890 751050 but it will probably fill up quite quickly - I would call now if I were you.

Penicuik - I'm not sure - I've never seen one. If I hear of one I'll let you know.

Thanks, I will try that number. Penicuik is near Edinburgh so there should be one within reasonable distance.
