Already played a track on GMR's Sounds of Folk - it was difficult to choose, but in the end I went for Charlie in the Meadow as I always get a lump in my throat when I hear it.

All excellent stuff - well done Stitherum.

I can't wait till all BBC local radio programmes have a "listen again" feature like the mainstream BBC programmes. The day will come.

Best regards

I have a pre release and have to say that it is very good, and is a true representation of their live performances.

Something very refreshing to hear an artist(s) as they sound :-)

Are you bringing any along to Market Rasen Folk Club tonight when you do your support floorspot to Bob Fox?

Time for a bit of shameless self-promotion!
Our CD "Threads" has arrived and we can't keep them all so I thought I'd better tell you about it.
The whole intention was to produce a recording which would be as near as we could get to our live performance (sans mistakes!) So, there's no jiggery pokery or guest musicians/singers who are better than us - what you here is what you get. It has a mixture of our own songs and those of our favourite writers - something old, something new, mostly borrowed and occasionally blue.

Anyone who is interested in getting one should send a pm.

Mike and Sue
(AKA "Stitherum" - a Lincolnshire dialect word meaning much the same as rigmarole)
