heloo george silver=
god be in my head and in my understanding,
[prayer of st richard?]

and God grant me the serenity to acept the thins i cannot change,
courage to change the things i can,
and the wisdom to know the diffeence.

There is no God but Allah, and Mohamhed [peace be upon him]
is his messenger.

That will really piss off the non religous type people, as if I'm nothered!

I might start typing that at the end of all my messages Ins'Allah.

John, if I ever manage to be in your area on the first Thursday, I will come to your club. Unfortunately I'm a little bit far away, like Sydney Australia.

My folk club, North By Northwest, is on the same night as yours, and we have a shanty group called the Roaring Forties on this month. Good luck with yours - hope it goes well.

Jenny

Bloke,
You played a song when we came to Barton called "North and South" which me and my number one daughter would like to do ourselves. There is a small sherry in it for you if you show you show me your arrangement of it.

It will be lovely to see you again Karen and Colin. You were missed by me and Mrs.Ossenflags at the Whitby.

Don't like goodbyes generally, but we four seemed to make a profession of it last year - three/four days in the parting as i recall !!!!! Did you get that bus/train in the end?

I'll do my best to turn up - sounds like its going to be a good evening. Sadly, I will be working late and I have not got my fiddle with me so I will have to back to Beverley first, which will be a hassle. Why to these things come in quick succession? After tonight, Farlington and The Monks on sunday we will all be completely folked!

If I don't see you all tonight I'll will be loitering on Chants tommorow, waiting for Super Ted to pick me up.

Richard

Richard-El Ted now lives in Beverley, ring his mobile, he might be able to give you a lift.
He also works in Hull, so if you ring him quickly, he might even give you a lift to Beverley on his way home!

I won't post his number here, in case loads of nutters phone him, but i think youve got it anyway.

Join the site if you can [it don't cost nowt], and the private message thing is useful for swapping numbers, adresses etc.
