Peggy Seeger is performing at Salford Quays Lyric Theatre at 8pm Saturday 16th October. Martin Carthy and Norma Waterson are her guests. (Tickets £13.50)

To coincide with this concert the Fourth Annual MacColl "do" to celebrate his contribution to folk music will be held at Salford University Working Class Library

The proceedings will start on the 16th at 10am and comprise a series of short concerts,workshops and singarounds alternating throughout the day finishing around midnight!!

The price will be £10 per head to include buffet lunch. Food will also be available around 6.30pm at reasonable cost.

The programme and guest list is being finalised as I write and will be posted as soon as available.

Come along and have a good listen and a good sing.
