We are on school holidays then so if needed could get down earlier and help set up. If you need help Thursday morning does this mean we could arrive Wednesday night?

Oi ! I wanted to be the hundredth message, 'smy festival!!
Any road oop, looks like a conspire arse to get Kath to Miskin. Keep up the good work.
Meanwhile I've updated the website with a fuller guest list there are still a couple of names to add when confirmed but it all seems to be turning out nice again.

A few advance ticket orders would mean we could afford to buy food to feed you all. Hmmm, drink??????

Mrs Duck,
If you came Wedneday evening you could all come to Llantrisant Folk Club (special family rate) to see RATTLE ON THE STOVEPIPE (Dave Arthur, Pete Cooper and Chris Moreton).
We are child-friendly - even yours (I built up a tolerance at Whitby) - sorry I meant we are Geoff-friendly. :-)

Best regards

Splott Man

Cats

What a bummer!

Elizabeth and I live in Brighton (just down the london Road from the Unison offices). We know that if the trains are going to be difficult it will be on a Bank Holiday weekend

We shall be at Miskin this year but you must look us up when you next have a conference or whatever in Brighton (I seem to recall that Jon turned up at a singaround 3/4 years ago when he was down/up for something. JudeL was also in town came to the singaround too.

Hello each, thanks for all the messages/enquiries etc. I try to answer them all by PMs. BUT my life would be a lot easier if you could use my email address andy@miskinfolk.co.uk. My outlook express is set up to file things in the right place all by itself and I can keep a proper record. I work from two bases 150 miles apart and outlook does all the forwarding for me. Thanks chaps and chappeses.

Cat,

After Miskin we are going over to stay with Gervase and Mary Jane for a few days so won't be back until April 1.

There is a singaround (home for waifs and strays) in the Railway, Ditchling Rise on Wednesdays and a similar thing in the Jolly Brewer Ditchling Road on Sundays (same people as Wed so same style).

Other than that you will need to travel to Lewes or Seaford on Thursday and Friday respectively.

Ther is a website with all this on it but I am at work and don't have the URL at present.

Dave

Thanks, Dave. I've taken up Cllr on his offer of a lift to Bristol which means...... (drum roll here) I'll be at Miskin until Sunday afternoon...yippee!!!! So, There will be a Story Walk and Daniel's Band will have a female voice and, if you are very lucky, I might just sing a couple of times elsewhere too.

Thanks Cllr for your generous offer... we can sing together now!!

Thanks Phot, but Brighton is a hell of a way, even with your V8 engine..... but we could all go for a trip to Bristol in it perhaps.

It may have done in this instance but it also just goes to show the kind and generous side of the folk world that has been a very special part of my life for over 30 years. We are very lucky to have friends like this.

Following the 'Bongs' last year,

I now have the full lyrics of Marty Feldman singing "The Great Bell"
But I'm saving them to stop someone getting in ahead of me at Miskin!

Anyone fancy joining me for the semi-chori? (PM me, I'll make the words available!)

And it's next on my list too.

Just need to make up my mind as to whether to bring sleeping bags or an airbed and duvet. But then I suppose sleep is not what it is about.

Looking forward to seeing a lot of mates (from MBS and elsewhere)

Can hardly wait. The anticipation is spoilt by the fact that I have to work nearly every day between now and then in order to get the time off.

Ho hum!!
