My Gr. Gr. Gr. Grandfather was Robert Wilson from Aberlady East Lothian area. My GrandDad Wilson used to sing me Scottish songs when I was growing up I am sure passed on from his parents.

I need info.for liner notes on the origins of the melody to the Scottish military song "A Gordon for me, a Gordon for you, if you're nae a Gordon you're nae good to me."(What IS the song's title?).Was the tune written for the song or is it from somewhere else?
