It would be nice to have another historic venue

The Guildhall in Boston, The quaker Meeting House Spalding, something like that. Never played in a castle before! I think it was haunted.Chilly at any rate.

Next Lincolnshire Folk event is on 6th March - probably at Walesby Village Hall. However after the success of yesterday, it has been suggested that we go quarterly. AGM in November so more news after that!

Great afternoon. Particularly enjoyed WLD. 'Drown her in the bath, I'm a psychopath'- priceless!

Excellent performances all round - hardly fair to single out but Mike & Jackie, Stitherum, Elizabeth Padgett & partner (sorry, grey cells not good with names fella!) and Akmed's Camel all hit the spot for me too.

When and where is the next Lincs. Folk-Meet?

SJ :0)

I have put the link to the castle earlier on in this thread, so all the yankee can have a look.

Bit of a bugger, I missed weelittledrummer, because I was getting warmer clothing for my wife and children.

However, i got a good report from Mrs Sooz.

Hopefully he will grace Market rasen Folk Club in 2005. See pm weelittledrummer

Had a great afternoon there...then had a great meal out with Travelling Audience..then arrived home to relax and put my feet up(minus the golfing socks). Well worth travelling the distance to see the performances which(for our friends in the US) was held in a wonderful Cromwellian Castle.....Presume Sooz will put a photo of the Castle on tomorrow with the others. Best wishes. Mike.

Brilliant afternoon, thanks to all organisers and performers.

GS - Glad I hadn't read about your golfing socks before the event, I might not have dragged you up to dance (briefly)!. Thanks for the loan of the jumper anyway. That had four holes in it by the way.

Yes it was very well organised and lots of very good variety and entertainment.

Well done the organisers.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend on October the 8th, as it clashes with Market Rasen Folk Club, which runs very other Friday.
So the show must go on.
