Hi out there...

A friend gave me a mixed tape with a song from a swedish group called Plommon. The song is called "Emma" and i can´t find the lyrics anywhere in the net. Maybe someone can help me ?!?

i know of a beautiful waltz called emma's which is finnish, but have never heard lyrics to it. i will see if i can find anything for you.

TheSession.org has various forms (ABC, sheet music) under the name John Murphy's Swedish.

It's a lovely piece. It also looks great for beginners, because it has few big jumps in it.

Emma (sung by Ture Ara klik) was the first "hit record" (1929) in Finland.
It also is the first tune that I (and many others I believe) learned to play on mandolin. But what really struck me a couple of years later was this.
