Hi all-
thought you'd like to know that Nellies is moving.

The last at the Hilden Manor will be Sunday 3rd October, with the Hartley Morris singers, and from then on it will be at the

Ivy House, Tonbridge

which is by the Hadlow Road Junction.
First Sun of every month, 8 onwards- Rosie Davis in November. Gales/Harveys/Guiness, beams & a snug acoustic room

nb after canvassing opinion, in the new year Nellies will be moving to Ist MONDAY of the month. Please spread the word.

Floor singers always welcome

Good luck with the new location and I believe the new day will be a benefit too. I may even drop in some time, you never know!
I don't remember a lot of space in the Ivy House but then I never needed much space to enjoy a good pint of beer. I just never imagined singing there.

That sounds promising. Doesn't clash with the Greyhound session in Maidstone (2nd Monday of the month). I haven't been to Nellies for an awful long time so I'll have to mark it in my diary when you've decided when in the new year.

Linda and I did a gig in the Ivy House a couple of years ago - it's not a bad pub. Parking can be a problem though.

Yes, it's back to the kind of space we had in the Cardinal's Error, but without the critical goldfish...Hartley had a good time there I gather. Glad to hear there's no clash with other clubs- always interesting...Bo, as you know, you'll have to duck to get to the bar...but it'll be worth it...

Just to confirm, as there's some confusion-

Hartley will be singing at the Hilden Manor this weekend (3rd Oct)from 8 pm

Then Rosie in the IVY House on the 1st Sun in Nov
Elsie's Bunch 1st Sun in Dec


Then a move to 1st MONDAY in Jan, which is by date 3/1/05, and 1st Mondays thereafter-

whew, even after a Bishop's finger...

Well, after 3 months the club is gathering strength - next up is Sue Hudson & Cliff Bayliss on Monday the 7th of Feb, followed by Lynne Heraud & Pat Turner on March 7th & Mike Nicholson in April- so a good guest list & a strong set of floor singers.
