The Berner Oberland / Irish band are launching their second CD!!
Iti is called "Selection".
The party takes place in Hotel Stechelberg, 3822 Stechelberg CH
on Friday 3.December 2004.

Did you get the Comhaltas Branch set up in Switzerland? When I was at the HQ in Monkstown for the Congress May 03 a group were there talking about a new Branch.

Ive had a look at the website just now. Wish Id have looked sooner as we had a group of young Swiss students at our Irish music session last Thursday and they didnt know of any sessions in Switzerland.

They were on a trip to the Ironbridge area in Shropshire and were staying at the local Youth Hostel.

About 4 of them borrowed instruments from our musicians and joined in. They also sang us some Swiss songs. It was a great evening.

I think their school was near Zurich.
