Not sure if that's the correct title
The only snippet of lyrics I've got is..
This is my homeland, the place I was born in
No matter where I go, it's in my soul
Cheers
Mick

Here you are Mick.

HOME TO DONEGAL

The lights of London, are far behind
The thoughts of my homeland, Are crowding my mind
Familiar places, come into view
I see my home now, soon I'll see you

CHORUS: This is my Homeland, the place I was born in
No matter where I roam, it's in my soul
My feet may wander, a thousand places
But my heart will lead me back home, to my Donegal

Talk to the old folk, Lord they're getting on
Treat them to late nights, sing a few songs
We'll talk of the neighbours, & life in the town
There's so much to tell them, the days fly around

And then tomorrow, we'll take a walk
Down to St. Mary's, to a sheltered spot
We'll kneel and pray there, for the ones that have gone
And hope that they're proud of their wandering son

Hope you are keeping well. Regards, Mick Bracken

Well Brack, ya beat me to the bloody lyric. Fair play to ya. But I thought I should still post and send the other two Mick's from ole Big Mick a wish for all the very best during the upcoming holidays. Maybe we should start Mudcat's very first caucus group. Mick's of the world unite. *****grin*****

Mick
