Thanks Ellen, I fully intend to. First of all, freda underhill is having a session at her place on the night, Then, this coming weekend - being a long weekend in Oz - freda and I will be helping Rhymin' Simon celebrate his birthday (October 4th) up at his place on the Central Coast. Us Librans gotta stick together! Micca, CatsPhiddle and Liz the Squeak have met Simon I believe (Towersey 2001), so they should remember who I am talking about. Others might be coming too, as well as a bottle or two of good liqueur port, so a good time will be had by all. Thanks for the well wishes folks. Life is good!

They're better ignored ... I dawned on me that Saturday, down at Jamberoo for the Illawarra Folk Festival, was my birthday ... about 23.59hrs, while finally relaxing with friends over a coffee and a quiet session ... about 100 metres east of your tent.

A minute is enough time to contemplate a passing year!

It's been an enjoyable birthday week, and it's not over yet. It actually started at my son's place in North Gosford last weekend with a lovely dinner, good wine and a new TV to bring back - not to mention the session and the concert on Sunday up there.

We had the session at freda's on Tuesday night, which was lovely, then on Wednesday my daughter came over for dinner, and we finished off the lush chocolate cake from the day before by the light of the new floating candles.

Today and tomorrow we are just relaxing, then on Saturday I'll be going to Simon's for the long weekend, to help him celebrate his birthday on Monday, with hopefully some other friends. I'll take your extra verse with me, Micca. I'm sure he'll appreciate it! And happy birthday Micca, Simon, Jacinta, Allison, and ALL OTHER LIBRANS!!
