BTW, I was kinda' wondering if you knew what "Many Happy Returns of the Day" means? I noticed a lot of folks on this thread said that and to be truthful, it's always been a complete mystery to me. I mean if you think about it, a good burp , a humongous fart, or a decent crap are all remains of the day. So perhaps they are wishing you good digestion and hence good health. Whaddaya' think? Sounds good to me so on that basis...........

Hi Y'All and many Thanks for the Greetings, I have had a very nice day, mostly relaxing except for the incident with the smell of prawns that had me "shouting Hughie doen the white telephone"
Now for the Interesting Points of the W/e
I spent Saturday evening in the Booze-up of my family
The Port was bloody AMAZING!! I Hope someday to taste its like again (but I am Not holding my breath)it was 1945 vintage, possibly the greatest of the last century
2 very special single Malts (a rare Glenfiddich and a Glen Moray)
some Wonderful Amarone de Valpollicella With dinner (Roast Beef)
and on
Sunday Had Lunch at Liz the Squeaks so all in all a good w/e.
i am looking forward to seeing fellow catters either at Banbury This coming w/e or at the Getaway the w/e after (if I can find my Passport!!!) Hasta Luego!
