Subject: Tech: Tuning MIDI by Cents From: pavane Date: 04 Oct 04 - 11:22 AM Hi, I intend to try retuning my MIDI player so that I can use it to play tunes in 'perfect' tuning instead of 'even tempered'. The unit does allow me (by Sysex message) to adjust each pitch by + or -100 cents, with one decimal place, so that the smallest adjustment is 0.1 cent. Does anyone have a table of the adjustments in cents that I would need? Thanks |

Subject: RE: Tech: Tuning MIDI by Cents From: pavane Date: 04 Oct 04 - 11:52 AM Thanks, I think that will do it. In fact, the 12 tone even tempered chart gives the differences in cents from 'Just' tuning, which is exactly what I wanted. |
