Yorkshire has a vile climate, I agree, but the ice cap retreated some centuries ago -- forcing me to relocate to an area with less congenial neighbours. The Canadian Forces station on Ellesmere Island has an antenna farm that makes an excellent slalom run for an airborne sleigh, but apart from that it's a long way to the pub.

Aaaaaaaaaaaah! I just got back from Santa's House here at the North Pole. This could be serious. Santa has gone on vacation for the month of November! Sitting in his big beautiful chair is a hand written sign saying, "he'd see us all in December". Now I understand that he/she works hard but is Novemeber the month to be taking a vacation when we have all sent in our want list...

Don't be putting yourself down as a dumb Santee--you sound plenty smart to me! I do so share your opinions of which colors look good! 'Course, the other mudcat here thinks color coordinating means seeing how many different shades of green you can pack onto your body at the same time, and he's not even Irish, or at least, not much.

I must be the Dumbest Santee ever, I just know that I'll never, ever guess your name. As for colours I suppose that all shades of purple are wonderful & blue & green are also really good colours. I'll admit to having a complete hatred of the colour Red (apologies to our own dear Mr Red) and am not keen on Orange or Yellow either - except rainbows are fabulous!! Most of my jewellery is currently in silver-tone as my favourite dressing-up pendant is a beautiful rainbow moonstone. Choosing earrings for work is a problem/joy I face daily!

BTW, Just love the sound of 'stitch & bitch evenings' *huge smile*

Actually, it's been raining quite a bit lately, for here and there are no cactuses at all in our yard, thank goodness--I have sort of a magnetic attraction for the prickles. No crocuses, either. Well Nancy -

The elves have come up trumps - seems they've made their own CD, which they reckon has some "good" harmony singing on it. Well, we do live in a country famed for it, but I wouldn't rely to much on that. I've got them out now, scouring the local markets for items of "craft" to add to your pile of pressies. Bearing in mind that the locals are mainly reknown for not coming through on the deal, I hope you're good at handling disappointments. Still, we'll do what we can.

Sorry, I missed your telegram sent 24th Oct, it's only just arrived. I think the pigeon took a wrong turn at Mablethorpe (all that metal stuff in those Gas Terminals plays havoc with their built in radars).

Siamese Elephants...Mmm, got to say I sympathise with the reindeers there. Need to consider the neighbours here as well, two weeks without food or company is a long time for a fully grown beast of that 'mass' to remain content-mind you the roses in the garden would no doubt benefit fully. Liked the bit about the red velvet and silver bells though, very tempting and has a certain ring to it.

Where's this Abitration place then ? Looked up Multimap and it's not listed. Anywhere near Ipswich ??
