Singer Lorna Franklin, accompanied by guitarist Jeremy Kahn, is guest at this month's 'St Albans Second Sunday' at the Rose and Crown, St Michael's Street. This is the first time Lorna has sung there as a guest, but anyone who has heard her will know that we are due for a real treat. The rest of the evening is in singaround format, so there is plenty of chance for other people to contribute as well as listen.

For further details, see www.stalbansfolkmusic.org.uk

Coming soon:

Sat Oct 30 Special session at the Rose and Crown to celebrate 25 years of sessions every Thursday from 9pm.

Sunday Nov 14 Martin Carthy and Norma Waterson plus support at Trestle Arts Base, preceded by guitar workshop with Martin Carthy. Tickets on sale now, including tonight and on Sunday in the Rose and Crown

Breezy - if I come down on Sunday I'll certainly mention my appearance next weekend.

But not to hijack the thread, go and see Lorna and Jeremy on Sunday for some fine singing and most excellent guitar playing.

Mick
