Tech: How you making links then?

HEloo , i like to make some links, [to music sights, like emma rugg .com. etc],
but i fogot how to do it.
i did it before, but i forfot, i triedv iut it doesent work.

1)first put the cursor at the beginning of a URL... for example http://www.mudcat.org

2)click, then hold down the shift key and move the cursor all the over to the end of the URL (you have to hold down the left mouse button as you do this). This highlights the address you want to copy

3)press Ctrl, then the 'C' key (hold them both down at the same time)

4) scroll down to the bottom of this screen and click on the phrase "Make a link ("blue clicky")

5)put your cursor at the beginning of the box labelled "Link URL" and click

6)press Crtl, then the 'V' key (again hold them both down at the same time)

7) your link... for example http://www.mudcat.org ...should appear in the box

8) click the button "Create Link"

anyway=none of that stuff you wrote works for me, i use internet tv, but jeri told me how to make links, [with html code].
