Forgive me for using Mudcat to spread this information but I know a fair number of Mudcatters are waiting anxiously for this news, so I hope it can stay in the Music section for a couple of days.

I heard today that the accommodation problems have been sorted and that the Helmsley Winter Weekend will be going ahead on 28-30th January 2005.

I know that it has been an anxious couple of months but hopefully now things can get going.

All involved will be hearing from me in a week or two .. Please don't contact me unless its urgent.

A wonderful, wonderful weekend - good company (if rather inebriated!), lovely surroundings (good shops!), and magical singing. I can't mention anyone in particular because so many were just excellent.
