This got lost in the enthusiasm in the 2004 thread, so I will start a new thread. Dick Greenhaus and I plan to go back to Whitby this year (we were there 3 and 5 yrears ago).

1) What are the dates for 2005? Aug 20-27?

2) Since now is the time to reserve accomodations for next summer, does anyone want to share with us? If so do you already have a place lined up? You can send me a PM or email [e-mail]. I have lists of agencies that rent "cottages."

It is a wonderful festival. More American mudcatters should consider the trip. We look forward to seeing more of the British contingent again.

Hi Susan

Your dates are almost correct, it is always the week before our August Bank Holiday starting Saturday 20th August 2005 but ends on the Friday evening 26th August. Accommodation as you will know, as you've been before, is at a premium so it would be a very good idea to start looking now.

While I am not interested in sharing a cottage [at Whitby I use my motorhome], it would be nice to see you both again!
I hope you easily get some accommodation OK.

With the demise or not of Sidmouth the rumour mill says that accomodation is being snapped, up my advice is book sooner rather than later.
