Subject: Tune Req: Redmond O'Hanlon From: GUEST,Patrick Date: 12 Oct 04 - 08:22 AM I just added a message to the lyric search for this song but it seems like a better idea to start a new thread. This song was written by P.J.McCall (as has been noted elsewhere) and, though not well known, exists in lyric form on quite a few sites. Unfortunately, the tune is nowhere in evidence. Can anyone help? I'd prefer an abc version if poss. As I said elsewhere: it seems that while "fiddle tunes" are very well represented on the web, song tunes are extremely hard to find. Thanks in advance. |

Subject: RE: Tune Req: Redmond O'Hanlon From: Malcolm Douglas Date: 12 Oct 04 - 09:36 PM No. See the other thread, a little further down the page: Ballad of Redmond O'Hanlon It would be better to keep the discussion there, rather than starting an unnecessary new one which (as Mack's post shows) will only lead to confusion. |
