I'm searching for lyrics for this song for a friend. I've had no luck in DT, in Cowpie or on Google. It is a country song from the 40's or 50's. I am not sure who done it first but something in the back of my mind makes me think that Roy Drusky may have done it at some time. Any help would be appriciated.

I'm not sure if this is the song, but Merle Haggard's "All My Friends Are Gonna Be Strangers" has the line: "The only thing I can count on now is my fingers."

I don't think that is the song that he is looking for, but now I realize why that line sounded familiar to me.
