I don't know the area at all. There are some folkies around Harlech/ Machynlleth; Taplas says 1st & 3rd Fridays in the Leisure, but they 'have been known' to be wrong or out of date. Phone 01654 703860

Some of the people at the Centre for Alt. Tech. in Machynlleth are also into folk and early music. Paul Allen their might know ... but all this is farther south than you ideally want. Sorry.

Sian

The two pubs in Aberdaron are the Ship and the Ty Newydd. Contact details for the Ship are here
and the phone number for the Ty Newydd is 01758 760207. Aberdaron is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places I'ver ever seen and is well worth a visit - session or no session!

Hope that helps!

Chris

Thanks db, it was The Ship we were in.

Second your comments about Aberdaron - we stay on a campsite right at the end of the road, overlooking Bardsey, never crowded, a superb place to refresh. The bloke who owns the campsite also has a caravan for hire - details from me.
