Hi all...

For those few who still remember me, I sing in a group that primarily does folk and original drinking songs out in SoCal, singing as "The Poxy Boggards".

We've been handed a hell of an opportunity, and a few of the old friends I corresponded with here might appreciate hearing.

We're opening for the Fenians! We've been given an opening slot on November 24th, at the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana.

With that and a short performance slot at the Just Plain Folks Awards... things are looking up.

Thank you... I'm amazed at how much extra work has suddenly materialized.

It makes me appreciate how cushy our "regular" gig working at the renfaire is.

This time around, *we* are the ones required to do the promotions, mobilize the fan base, make sure we get merchandise space and what the equipment we need is...
