Anybody remeber a BBC radio serial of Lorna Doone way back in the fifties, which had a lovely traditional theme tune? If so, anybody know what that tune was?

I believe this was pieds-en-l'air from the Capriol Suite by Peter Warlock. It has been one of my favorite pieces since listening to the BBC play in the 'fifties when Radio still reigned supreme.

Wasn't it "Banks of Green Willow " by Butterworth?

I'm quite sure it was from Warlock's Capriol Suite. You can find it on youtube as pieds-en-l'air from the Capriol Suite by Peter Warlock.
