Subject: Doug Kershaw question From: leeneia Date: 24 Oct 04 - 12:22 AM Doug Kershaw, the Ragin'Cajun, is doing a concert fairly near me. Can anybody tell me what his voice is like? Pleasant? Whiny? Low? High? Tuneful? Hoarse? I notice that his agent's site praises his fiddle playing and says nothing about his singing. Sometimes Cajun singing can be what you might call a specialized taste. |

Subject: RE: Doug Kershaw question From: GUEST Date: 24 Oct 04 - 04:44 PM It doesn't really matter what his voice sounds like. If he can still play the fiddle half as well as he used too, then you will be very thankful that you went to see him. |

Subject: RE: Doug Kershaw question From: leeneia Date: 25 Oct 04 - 12:54 AM Rats. He's coming to Fort Scott, Kansas the same day that Kevin Burke, Ged Foley, and Johnny Connolly are playing Kansas City. What to do, what to do? |
