Subject: RE:40 or 50 years ago From: Bill in Alabama Date: 17 Nov 98 - 05:26 PM Moe The Lester S. Levy Collection of Sheet Music lists three or four early pieces with the title "Fifty Years Ago." I have heard the song many years ago, but can't remember enough of it to try a good search. At least the Levy site gives you some more options. |

Way down in the county Kerry Chorus
Put on your ould knee britches
Tis well do I remember Chorus
Tis well do I remember Chorus
Maybe there are more verses, but thats as far as my memory goes
This is a lively tune and if you can find someone who can play the accordian (*grin*) he/she could finish with a reel (The Sally Gardens come to mind)
