I have recently acquired a Zephyr ZAC60 guitar. No country of origin is indicated on the label, just the maker - Custom Guitar Craft.

Hanks in Denmark Street where I bought it thought it might be Japanese, but I have my doubts, and have found mention of a luthier operating under the Custom Guitar Craft name in Moolooba, Queensland.

Do any Oz catters know whether this luthier is known to produce well-made copies of Tony Zemaitis' acoustic guitars under the above model name?

Try and track down the Aussie - Qld - Instrument Makers Association, they will probably know him if he works ar Mooloolaba.

Thanks, Foolestroupe, I'll try that - and I'll spell Mooloolaba correctly, which might help!

graham is a scientist and music lover. he has applied his understanding of physics to guitar and violin making. he is a very talented instrument maker and has published over 30 papers in various respected journals concerning music, lutherie, and his accumulated physics-acoustical research.
