No need to look at the poster. Last year was so good, you can count on my family coming.

Please reserve me a family ticket.

See you there Kate, Chris and Gerry.

Get that reindeer dance set up Eamonn - that is one hell of a hoot :-)

Come on you Gainsborough lot, get your tickets for an excellent evening and such a wonderful charity to go for.

Is it bring your own food and drink again?

Is it the same place as last year ?

Thanks Les and to all others whether mudcatters or not. It was one of the best nights we've ever had - Royal Albert Hall next year I think or maybe we can take over the BBC for the night and have 1 gigantic National Children In Need Ceilidh - will that set a new world record?

Just got back home.

What can I say. It was huge resounding success. My kids loved it.

Managed to sell 3 yellowbelly CD's thanks to Chris.

The highlight of the night, was everybody dancing round the floor as reindeers. hands stuck on their heads as antlers.
If the mental hospital were passing by, they would have locked everybody up. :-)

Seriously guys, well done, and you can count me in for next year, god willing.

Direction's?
Which way would you come into Scunny?
If coming from Gainsboro side, Follow A159 from G'boro, thro Blyton, Scotter and Messingham. In Scunthorpe st'on at t'lights by the Dolphin pub, st on at next set. Right at next (Ashby high Street), left at next(with filter). You are now on ASHBY Road, next lights is a pelican crossing by a pub called "SHOTZ" (used to be The Priory). St on at next t'lights but note Church on far right corner of lights. Thats St Hugh's, The church hall is next door. There is a petrol station directly across the road, and also a chapel.

If from Brigg side, follow A18 down dual carriage way, At roundabout by Morrisons go St on. Continue along dual carriageway through 3 sets of t'lights to next roundabout, turn left, st on at next lights. St hughs ch Hall is about 200 yds along on left side, just after a slight right bend in road.
Sorry this is a lenghty tome, but you did ask.

Chris

Thought I'd start a new thread for this. It's been mentioned on a couple of others but there's nothing like drawing attention to it especially when it's for a good cause.
Date: 20th Nov 2004

Place: St Hugh's Church Hall, Ashby Road (Brumby Corner), Scunthorpe, England

That's right, see Banjo flower, 12string growler, old grisly and meself along with others and raise money for BBC Children in Need at the same time.
