Hi Kenny B. Your post reminded me of the Dunfermline Folk Club. How are Gifford and the others? Hope the club is still going strong - that was quite a pleasant evening. And Dunfermline is beautiful - I hope to get back before too long.

All the best,

Mary

Dunfermline really is very attractive and interesting for a visitor. All the history and the old buildings. I really enjoyed it. I guess if you live there you just take it all for granted. After seeing Dunfermline, I was surprised it wasn't on more tourist itineraries.

Hi Rob
Clicky to Taggart & Wright Very good, saw them at Glenfarg. Are you their manager?
Your contacts at Glenfarg and Milnathort can advise you on getting gigs "way up here" :<} otherwise you can contact venues using the red clickies on the Giglist.
Best Wishes
Kenny B

Hi Kenny,
I try to manage Taggart and Wright but they are wild women!
Angie and I popped into Dunfermline between Christmas and New year. A bit quiet but a good night, and lots of stovies. Angie and I will be back sometime in Summer. As far as getting Taggart and Wright on the move, Anne is still studying hard at UCE. Once that is finished we will be in touch.

Give our regards to Tarneybackle.

Rob and Angie Wright

Angie Wright, half of the infamous Taggart and Wright will be playing support to the Emily Smith Band at the Star Club in Glasgow. I know it is not quite Fife but a short journey for a great night. That is Thursday 24th March at St. Andrews in the Square.
We are hoping to visit a few clubs in Fife while we are up as well as visits to the isles of Muck and Rum.

Hello to all at the Dunfermline folk club especially George Haig, Lindsay Porteous, Gifford, and Jean
WE'll be "over by" in June but not sure if we'll make it to Dunfermline this time. George will be here in Maine at our house drinking Guiness at the Anchor and reviewing the infamous Round Pond parade- ask him about it sometime.
We may see Lindsay at the Dulcimer festival in Bushmills NI

Anyway, "If we don't see you in the future, we'll see you in the pasture"
Cheers- Julia & Fred / Castlebay
