to many bloody roundabouts if you ask me, tota;l bloody stupid place, and go fro m Bawtry to town centre is bloody confusing and stupid, and hard to find places, so total rubbish.

It has a very nice train station, John. I spent a lot of time there last year.

They have a great Antique Fair occasionally, at the Exhibition Centre by the Race track. Also went to a Folk Club once which was good.

Doncaster completely altered my life when I was a few months short of 17 - I discovered Draught Bitter there, while I was on a junket run by the (then) National Coal Board. During the day we visited collieries (Manvers and Silverwood among others - they're closed down now) and during the evening we went on pub crawls. The idea was to try and convince sixth form grammar school pupils to come and work for the NCB when they'd left university - it did the reverse for me !

Bombing Doncaster is pointless as it would only cause £10 worth of damage.


























On the other hand, it would also couse several million pounds worth of improvements.

Doncaster is a nice place and clean, they all speak English and we parked free last weekend. Dont pull Doncaster down it is setting a good example.
