Subject: Norteno version of 'El Paso' From: GUEST,Seth in Oly Date: 05 Nov 04 - 10:18 AM I'm trying to find a version of Marty Robbins "El Paso" in Spanish, done by some group in classic norteno style. Anyone got a clue? I keep hearing it in my head, but I could be hallucinating, I suppose. Seth in Olytown |
Subject: RE: Norteno version of 'El Paso' From: Q (Frank Staplin) Date: 05 Nov 04 - 01:27 PM Probably a bum steer, but a cd called "Arriba El Norte" has a track called "Paso del Norte," an old name for El Paso. Go to Amazon and enter El Paso under popular music; in addition to the Marty Robbins, the cd of border Mexican songs will show up. Scroll down to the sound clips. |
