Subject: RE: Gila Eban Guitars From: Mooh Date: 06 Jan 13 - 08:58 AM Thanks for the update. Since this thread started my needs have changed so I'm no longer in the market. Nonetheless, it's fun to see these old threads rise from the dead. Peace, Mooh. |
Subject: RE: Gila Eban Guitars From: GUEST,Gila's Friend Date: 06 Jan 13 - 08:55 AM This is another older site for Gila's guitars is pics and some technical info but all the info is correct and the email is current. |
Subject: RE: Gila Eban Guitars From: GUEST,Gila's Friend Date: 06 Jan 13 - 08:44 AM Just send her an email about her guitars. She apprenticed under Rich Schneider in Kalamazoo and both worked with Dr. Kasha on bracing and bridge design. The email GEguitars.com is still valid. I got an email from her a month or so ago. She'll be glad to give you any information you need. |

Subject: RE: Gila Eban Guitars From: Mooh Date: 01 Feb 08 - 09:34 PM Thanks, but it's basically the same information that's ever been avaiable, and the last update was almost 2 years ago. That's a long time in the acoustic guitar business, even when wait times can be longer than that (though I've never waited more than 6 or 7 months). Remember the world before the net? LOL! Peace, Mooh. |

Subject: RE: Gila Eban From: moocowpoo Date: 09 Nov 04 - 09:04 AM hmm, the name does seem familiar, I must know someone who has mentioned it at some time......by the way, I asked you a zouk question in the "pros and cons of DADGAD tuning" thread........ Also, what kind of zouk did you buy? |

Subject: Gila Eban Guitars From: Mooh Date: 07 Nov 04 - 04:18 PM I have been looking about the web for information about these guitars, and haven't found anything newer than 2002, and precious little about the builder herself. Very much Kasha inspired instruments, they nevertheless appear to conform to some traditional shapes and construction details. Does anyone here know more about Eban and her guitars? I have exhausted the Google links. As usual, thanks in advance for your interest and contributions. Peace, Mooh. |
