This is another older site for Gila's guitars is pics and some technical info but all the info is correct and the email is current.

Just send her an email about her guitars. She apprenticed under Rich Schneider in Kalamazoo and both worked with Dr. Kasha on bracing and bridge design. The email GEguitars.com is still valid. I got an email from her a month or so ago. She'll be glad to give you any information you need.

Thanks, but it's basically the same information that's ever been avaiable, and the last update was almost 2 years ago. That's a long time in the acoustic guitar business, even when wait times can be longer than that (though I've never waited more than 6 or 7 months). Remember the world before the net? LOL!

I have been looking about the web for information about these guitars, and haven't found anything newer than 2002, and precious little about the builder herself. Very much Kasha inspired instruments, they nevertheless appear to conform to some traditional shapes and construction details. Does anyone here know more about Eban and her guitars? I have exhausted the Google links.
