Subject: Tim Laycock in Sidmouth From: Blowzabella Date: 08 Nov 04 - 08:20 PM To those of you in and around Sidmouth - and to those of you who are Tim Laycock / New Scorpion Band fans - you might like to know that Tim is appearing in a play 'A Poor Man's House' at the Manor Pavilion, Sidmouth, 19th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd & 24th November (plus a matinee on 20th). Tim also wrote the play, based on the novel by Stephen Reynolds about the Sidmouth fishing community in 1907. Expect lots of sea and fishing songs and a large community cast and choir. (Excerpt from forthcoming NSB newsletter - don't ask me anything else about the play - I know nothing, as Manuel would say!) |

I know they've been rehearsing it all over the area (Sidmouth, Tiverton,) so does that mean it is touring anywhere else, or just in Sidmouth? Quite a number (including myself)saw it at Sidmouth Festival last August, but it has some changes to the cast now? |
