Are you a regular Mudcat reader? If we take time to spell out the steps will you be back to read them?

Let's run the first test: if you come back to this thread, there are some standard bits of information that make troubleshooting easier.

What make, year, and what operating system are you using? Do you have any specialized software that can be considered problematic? (Symantec, AVG, various browsers, etc.)

Looks like that question was zapped. We had a visitor, never posted here before, ask how to remedy a slow computer. I'm sure Mudcat gets regular hits that kind of lateral in for repairs like that; I remember answering a few. But I am suspicious of a one-hit wonder, so to speak.
