Subject: 'Sometimes I sits...': origin From: GUEST,Chris C Date: 11 Nov 04 - 02:54 PM Hi All: I'm wondering if any one here knows the origin of the famous folksy ol' proverb: "Sometimes I sits and thinks, sometimes I just sits." I got no results in a search here; google shows that some attribute it to baseball great Satchel Page, but others don't. Any ideas?? ~Chris |
