Come check out Le Vent du Nord, who some of you may remember from Old Songs two summers ago. Great playing (fiddle, accordion, guitar), singing (in French and Breton) and step dancing from four sexy French guys--what more could you want?

Advance ticket sales have not been great (probably because these guys rarely play in Boston)and there is a danger the show may be cancelled, so please come support this show if you can!!! It's Friday December 4th in Lexington, MA.

This band is Quebecois, not Breton!

But that's my only correction here. I was at Old Songs when they were there, and caught them several times during the weekend. This band is wonderful and anyone who's (reasonably) close enough to see them should go! (I wish I was close enough!)

Hope you do get enough tickets sales and enjoy a great show!

I believe they were at Mystic Sea festival as well - How many groups can there be with that name? WELL worth seeing.

Ah, yes, Quebecois...well they did sing a Breton song or two, and taught some Breton steps so maybe I had that on the brain...thanks for the correction!

And MMario is right, they ae WELL worth seeing, so let's see if we can't let themj keep this date in their schedule!

Right, MMario, they were at Mystic this past June, and were tremendous! Great, energetic music, stepdancing, and great rapport with their audiences.
