'er indoors did a gig at a fantastic venue last night which I thought I'd bring to everyone's attention.

"Scholar's Notes" in Scarborough is well worth a look-see, with an enthusiastic organiser in Mark Gordon (himself an accomplished musician), a great atmosphere and a mouth-watering line up.

Their current season has featured (or will feature) Julie Ellison, Boo Hewerdine, Dick Gaughan, Keiran Halpin (with the brilliant Chris Jones), Chris & Kellie While, Acoustic Strawbs, Christine Collister, Vin Garbutt, Martin Simpson, Eleanor McEvoy and John Spiers & Jon Boden.

I just wish I lived in Scarborough!
