Subject: URL requested From: Stephen R. Date: 30 Nov 04 - 09:46 AM Dear list, Some monhs ago, someone posted here a URL that led to a site with a marvellous collection of links to many sites dealing with traditional song. I happily added this to my Firefox 'bookmarks' (= 'favorites' in Internet Explorer) and referred to the site several times. Last month, however, all my bookmarks were wiped out. It seems that this was a bug in Firefox, overcome in the latest versions, but mine was still vulnerable and I lost all the bookmarks. I have recovered most of my bookmarks, but have not been able to find that URL again; it was posted just long enough ago that I cannot remember what thread it was in. (Any Firefox users out there: the 'bookmarks' files in Profile do not contain the missing ones, so I cannot recover the old bookmarks from there.) Can anyone help me? Stephen |

Subject: RE: URL requested From: Stephen R. Date: 30 Nov 04 - 06:31 PM Thanks, Deckman, that's the one! However, the correct URL is http://www.folk-network.com/directory/links.html (The one you provided drew a blank, and I had to Google the constituent parts of it.) Stephen |
