Subject: Ploughflyer the Piper's Website From: Skipjack K8 Date: 30 Nov 04 - 03:28 PM My dear friend Cameron Edgar, known to the Mudcat world as Ploughflyer, has let it be known that he launched a website. It's very good, too, and features the stoutest pair of legs you'll find outside outside a snooker hall. It can be found here . A splendid site, with lovely sound samples, and a link to the best and worst ceilidh bands. Well done, Cameron, old love. |
Subject: RE: Ploughflyer the Piper's Website From: Oaklet Date: 30 Nov 04 - 05:50 PM I'd also like to join in this scrum and commend this as a resource to students of leg-studies the world over. You get clips of great piping, see a long-forgotten haircut and get a chance to e mail a really inspirational feller and musician. It is a pleasure to play alongside you, Cameron. Good luck with the site. |

Subject: RE: Ploughflyer the Piper's Website From: John MacKenzie Date: 01 Dec 04 - 04:57 PM Wonderful programme on piping on TV last night, including a very sexy Spanish lady playing the Gaeta, Hungarian bagpipes played by a wondefull caricature of a man, and tunes on the Duda, Border pipes, Uillean Pipes, and the lovely Kathry Tickell on Northumbrian pipes. I don't suppose it was on south of Hadrian's Wall. Giok |
