I just heard that there is a new trend this year in American xmas yard decorations! You know about those little wire frames that don't look like much. Then you stick them in your lawn and turn the switch and ... LO AND BEHOLD!!! You have a reindeer, all lighted and everything.

If you do that a whole group of times, suddenly, after dark, you have a whole herd of reindeeres.

I just heard (no pun intended) that local dissgruntled Democrats are doing that all around the lawns in MY TOWN. Except that when it gets dark, and the lights are turned on ... the reindeeres are all screwing each other!!!

Actually, I just learned that all male reindeer loose their antlers in Novemeber. Females do not. That means that all of Santa's reindeers were pregnant females able to drag a fat man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night ... and not get lost!!!!

Bloody typical... poor reindeer, up all day trying to sober up the red suited git, out all night driving him around - do THEY get any of the sherry? Oh no... glass of milk and a bloody carrot, that's all they get.... HE gets all the mince pies and sherry... Do you realise, he's practically comatose by the time he gets to Maine? THEY have to do all the work... lugging that great heavy sleigh around... AND they have to get him home again.. After 24hours of mince pies, sherry and Christmas pud, he's not a pretty sight to be seen.... AND THEN: When they get home, you expect them to perform gratuitous sexual acts just for your delectation, delight and gratification...... absolutely bloody typical!!!

Back to the original post -- why assume that the neighbors who pose their fake reindeer in erotic posisitons are Democrats?

True, they're probably not rank-and-file salt-of-the-earth religious conservative types, but there are plenty of greedy materialistic unbelievers among Republican leaders and contributors, including most of the lucky 2% of Americans who are reaping benefits from the current administration's policies.

My own best guess is that reindeer-posers of this ilk are probabaly apolitical non-voters.

The scuttlebutt has it that Santa is going to have to fly with only six reindeer (plus Rudolph, if need be) in at least 11 states this year. Prancer and Dancer are likely to be seen as a bit too gay for some.

I clean for a woman who does not work and has no children. One December she decided she needed KMart light up reindeer. She found the standing reindeer easily, then went all over Allegheny and Butler counties looking for the grazing reindeer. She devoted days to this!!!!!   What some people will do!!!!!
I found her one at a KMart about 15 miles from her home. She only had them out one year. I haven't seen them since.   I do HOPE she doesn't bring them out this year. I will be much much too tempted.   
I have a friend who collects unicorns. The last time I visited her house I made it unicorn mating season.

We have two horses of the Barbie ilk.... they are also doing 'it', but Limpit says it's OK because they're engaged.. When I looked closer, sure enough, one of them (the one on the bottom) is wearing a little pearly ring.

There is a house not a million miles away from here that has a scary reindeer on it's porch roof. It looks like almost every other reindeer lit up, but it has a moving head, that gently wafts in the breeze from side to side, for all the world like an Alzheimers sufferer or a spectator at a very slow tennis match.
