I am proud to be a regular member ot the Archie Edwards Blues Foundation and even prouder toninght as I just recieved word that we have been selected by The Blues Foundation to recieve the KBA (Keep HBlues Alive) Award in Memphis, Tn. on Feb. 5th during the IBC (Internastional Blue Challenge) week...

Congrats to Bobert and his associates!

I only recently learned about this foundation by visiting acousticblues.com, and I am envious of everyone who has the opportunity to meet reguarly with such a group. I can certainly understand why Bobert makes the long trek from West Ginny into Northeast DC to hang with the gang at Archie's barbershop.

Might of fact if ya' click on some of them photo gallery thingies you'll see the boney hillbilly featured in both the Potter House Gig and the NJ and Nap thing as well as in the first little film clip (though behind the singer at the piano I do get a little face time...)

Yeah, these folks is my familee... I love 'um all and well, sniff, seein' as much carp that they give me I reckon they at least likes me...sniff....

Now if ya click on the 2nd little movie thing the guy playing harmonica is my harp player when I play gigs elesewhere. His name is Vince "Harp Boy" Farabaugh an' he's like a son to me...
