Subject: Tune Req: Autumn in the Wild Wood (BBC2) From: Sarah the flute Date: 09 Dec 04 - 06:48 PM Does anyone know the name of that well known beautiful piece of choral music that was featured in the programme The Wild Wood when they were doing Autumn tonight on BBC2. They used to sing it with Kings College Choir at Christmas quite a bit and I think it was used on Angela's Ashes but its not listed on the soundtrack. It starts almost like a plain chant and then there is this treble voice that goes up really high. It sounds like it could be Palestrina. Any ideas anyone????!!!! Sarah |
