Subject: RE: BS: ISIHAC From: GUEST,Mingulay Date: 13 Dec 04 - 05:11 AM Didn't know there was a Gateway in Reading, thought it was a Waitrose area. Kitty, I bow to your superior knowledge of grocery stores and their disposition. By the way, does your Tesco's still have those nasty moving bollards? Oh death where is thy sting! |
Subject: RE: BS: ISIHAC From: John MacKenzie Date: 13 Dec 04 - 05:29 AM I knew being a radio 4 listener would put me ahead of the pack one day! Giok PS LTS that's where ISIHAC lives ;~) |
Subject: RE: BS: ISIHAC From: Crystal Date: 13 Dec 04 - 06:36 AM The BBC7 repeats are pretty good too! |
Subject: RE: BS: ISIHAC From: John MacKenzie Date: 13 Dec 04 - 08:40 AM Can only get it through telly or internet up here, as we're not scheduled for digital coverage in the forseeable future. Still the BBC can boast that they reach over 60% of the UK population, but as more then 60% of the population lives in about 10% of the country it's semantics, [and crap] Giok |
Subject: RE: BS: ISIHAC From: Mr Red Date: 13 Dec 04 - 05:25 PM watch out for the January 10th and 17th broadcasts. If you strain your ears and imagine a lot you might just hear a Mr red laughing, booing, applauding or whooping. But there where about 700 other entusiasts doing the same. I have to say it was too good for the "disgusted" enclave. But the next two to be broadcast were recorded in ...... (wait for it) ...... HULL |
Subject: RE: BS: ISIHAC From: Mr Red Date: 13 Dec 04 - 05:26 PM I should have said I was in - Tunbridge Wells |

Subject: RE: BS: ISIHAC From: Herga Kitty Date: 13 Dec 04 - 07:01 PM Mingulay Yesterday's ISIHAC programme (repeat from 6.30 Monday) was recorded in Basingstoke, so I was just quoting from Humph's intro. According to the R4 trailer, they recorded 2 programmes - Tim B-T tried asking what the other programme was - I got home too late to hear this evening's effort, butI guess it was another round of ISIHAC from B'stoke. I thought Linda Smith did really well in the song to another tune round yesterday. Kitty |
Subject: RE: BS: ISIHAC From: Liz the Squeak Date: 13 Dec 04 - 07:05 PM It's not the station that's the problem, it's finding Sunday lunchtime!!! LTS |
Subject: RE: BS: ISIHAC From: Leadfingers Date: 13 Dec 04 - 07:18 PM Its always available for the rest of the week on the net ! BBC Radio Four - I had company for the first show so heard it later ! And Humph was even ruder than usual tonight !! How does he get away with it ? |
Subject: RE: BS: ISIHAC From: John MacKenzie Date: 14 Dec 04 - 04:56 AM I think that when someone over 70 says things like that nobody thinks he means it, whereas if some young upstart on Radio2 said it there would be questions asked in 'the house'. Giok |
Subject: RE: BS: ISIHAC From: fat B****rd Date: 16 Dec 04 - 05:25 PM My old mate Dick Appleton (guitar player extraordinaire, Grimsby) was at the recording in Hull (yes HULL) ,to be heard soon, and chatted to the teams afterwrards. Course I'm not the least bit envious......... |

Subject: RE: BS: ISIHAC From: Mr Red Date: 16 Dec 04 - 07:02 PM Was the Hall full in 'Ull? I got a second e-mail offering tickets before they went fully public and sold the rest to the natives in North Humberside. Royal Tunbridge Wells (another town that appears in the wrong place in the alphabetical order) sold-out within the day. As for smut - if you like Ant & Dec - don't listen!!!!! |
