Oaklets band Cara are been played throughout Europe on the Sky Digital Channell 905, it's called Pulse Unsigned, it's set up to give unsigned bands a chance to be heard on the radio.
Theres a folk show on it, have a listen.

the pulse unsigned website is crap, it doesn't work on my internet telly box!

i notice there is a vote for your favourite treack thing,
i think the band with the most votes win something, not sure waht they win though?

if people like Cara, make sure you vote for them, they might win summat.

It's all a bit nerve-racking here. We just got to number two and in the Cara house it looks just like the back-stage scenes at the Eurovision. Except there are fewer transvestites.

The band Cara is now number 2. Dark/ death/ doom metal rockers from mustard land are now in the sights of Oakley and his band of insipid, lukewarm, reasonable-pub-band-type-of-thing, wistful types are in a frenzied state on or around the Humber banks.

I got caras cd, its really nice,

this is old thread waht i fereshed,
they got to number 1 in unsigned band charts, but then some crap hevvy metal band knocked them off.

therre cd is reallly nice.

Well, I do love Celtic music and the Eillean pipes just hit me in the guts every time I hear them. When I hear "The Faerie Queen" with the fiddle and pipes in pure sync.....that really does me in..I get duck bumps (or is it goosepimples) and my brain feels like it is being treated so finely....Whoops....just realised I am probably losing it!
