Last Friday, me + supergroup 'Senior Moments' attended a fab sinaround/sesh at the Royal Hill pub, Edgerley, Oswestry- run by Andy {a Canadian guy + others]

A most fiendly reception towards us + a lovely bowl of chiken+tomato stew!

There's free food for participants + its a real ale venue with caping facilities adj the pub+so u could stay over if travelling distance..

Its on every 2nd Friday of month.

Sounds good - especially the sin bit - a fiendly (fiendish?) reception does seem appropriate for that.

Seems to me that sinarounds, with fiends, drink and caping might manage to get the folk scene a slightly higher profile with the national press - makes a change from Aran sweaters, pewter tankards and open toed sandals. Respectability at last ! (:-)
