Subject: Tech: Blues harp holders From: GUEST,Peter A Date: 29 Dec 04 - 06:55 AM I have a couple of the traditional holders for harmonicas (to wear around the neck) but I don't like their size. I have however seen a smaller type - just to fit the size of one standard blues harp, but I don't know what they are called or where they can be found. I visited several music instrument shops on a recent trip to the US but didn't find them. My local provider is unable to help me, but I know they exist (I saw one at a show but did not have the chance to ask the owner/performer). Anyone know about this? Thanks for helping. |

Subject: RE: Tech: Blues harp holders From: Mark Ross Date: 29 Dec 04 - 10:26 AM They are LEE OSKAR harp racks. They work really well. They're made in Asia, I believe, and they are the closest thing to the ones that you used to be able get in the '60's. John Hammond introduced me to them, he picked them up on a tour of Japan where they are sold under the name TOMBO(?). Mark Ross |
